A wide range of functions, such as the electrical seat and backrest adjustments, massage functions and monitoring systems also turn the modern vehicle seat into a highly complex system. Existing installation space can be better utilised at least in part through the selective use of flat conductors. The reduction of interfaces, weight and assembly time are further advantages mentioned above. The integration of heating elements, sensors and other electrical and electronic components here is an additional given.

FNM also manufactures capacitive sensors for seat occupancy recognition by means of flat conductor technology. In parallel with this we also produce conventional sensors in conductive ink printing technology.
